Welcome to SBH
Thanks for stopping by the bear cave and checking it out. Being serious all the time is un-bear-able, so we have added a great comic strip at the bottom of page for your enjoyment. Please feel free to leave your thoughts,or shoot us an e-mail with the link to the right. We'd love to hear from all the creatures in the forest.

Lucius Annaeus Seneca

“One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood.”

Another great quote left by one of my readers, Thanks Peajay!

I'd have posted sooner but I was a little taken aback at the compliment and didn't quite know how to respond. I guess Thank-you covers it.
It sounds funny but the types of deep-thought topics you voice here aren't something I come across within my life. Please don't think I lead a fascile, casual lifestyle but more that the people I meet and have discourse with don't really share such insights as yourself. Most people I know seem more concerned about their own lives and many would be unable to put such thoughts and feelings into words let alone share them. You have a special gift Mark, please continue to share it with so many others.

Peajay, I think it is my turn to say thank you. I have had the opportunity to discuss such things among friends before. But the times where such topics can be really talked about do come few and far between. I used to chat about benign stuff until a friend of mine (Will Toms) challenged me on a wilderness venture to only talk about meaningful stuff. Needlessly to say, the first several hours after his comment were very quite. Anyway, I have worked on it. This Blog was more for me to write my thoughts and perceptions down, maybe, as a form of self therapy. I have been asked to write a few books which I have tended to shy away from, after all who would what to read my writing? So the feed back is great for me, I love all of it. It helps me orientate myself on many issues that are floating around in my head and some that I have chatted with others about. Please feel free to comment on anything you want to, I enjoy the response, and you do not have to agree with my view. In fact I often grow from opposing views.
